Lorac by Fragrach Lorac by Fragrach
Lorac, Draan(Goatman) Warrior

My current LARP character, played in the german Weltenbrand campaign.

While I made the design, most parts of it were done with the help of family or friends.
Weapons as well as armor were made entirely by good friends.
The mask was mady mostly by a good friend, while I only did minor tasks.
Although I didn't do most of the real work, I am most probably able to answer most questions about how most of the parts were made.

I agree with candlehat. Whoever did the mask looks to be inspired by the first Narnia movie (LWW). Not that I'm criticizing, it is SUPERB!

It's hard not to be compared to them ,since the Narnia movies have been released.
Anything goatlike is either declared "Warhammer" or "Narnia" these days.
Although there may be a little influence from the movies(since they were released during the mask making process), the project is not in any way related to Narnia.

What, to me, suggests the Narnia influence is the nose slit and the wide, lipless mouth. It's almost identical to the LWW satyr masks.

Apart from that, I agree with you that Lorac and the LWW satyrs are markedly different. The horn design, the lack of facial hair/fur around the snout, the beard and overall head hair/fur are all different. Nevertheless, whoever did the mask for you surely knows their craft. That mask -- and your entire costume -- are truly impressive!

Awesome creature... one helluva cool costume design and armour, and the hooved hands are great.

Astounding!
